A respected business in the construction industry is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee their projects in Aberdeen. This role is essential to ensure that all construction activities align with the company’s guidelines, budgets, timelines, and quality standards. The position has arisen due to ongoing growth and the need to maintain high standards across multiple sites.

The Role:

As a Site Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage construction sites to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. You will coordinate with various stakeholders and maintain accurate records to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a construction site to ensure timely, specification-compliant, and safe project completion.
  • Ensure all quality and safety inspections meet control standards and Group guidelines.
  • Facilitate communication and coordinate activities with external third parties, such as warranty providers, local authorities, and utility companies.
  • Maintain accurate development records, including staff inductions, health and safety reports, and quality control checklists.
  • Ensure timely material call-offs, checks, and storage in accordance with Group guidelines.
  • Direct and supervise the workforce, including subcontractors, to ensure timely and quality completion of works within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Sales and Customer Care to achieve targets and resolve customer care issues promptly.
  • Ensure site workforce and visitor compliance with Group Health, Safety, and Environment Policy to minimise incidents and accidents.
  • Travel across various sites in the region and occasionally to other Group offices.

 What We’re Looking For:

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Experience within the house building industry.
  • Experience and understanding of NHBC requirements.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
  • Current CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) preferred.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Qualification to minimum NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management preferred.
