Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking a role with an established, sought-after developer?

The Role:
Due to a strong pipeline of future developments and a desire to continue producing some of the most luxurious homes in the country, this business is looking to add value to its commercial department with the addition of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Commercial Manager, duties for the role include:
- Direct oversight and commercial responsibility for two of their flagship, flatted developments in the heart of Glasgow.
- Process and produce transparent weekly and monthly cost value reconciliation processes to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Maintaining long-term relationships with internal and external teams. Transferring information within parameters ensuring that relationships are maintained to meet the needs of the business.
- Assisting in managing opportunities and risks to the business. Identifying and highlighting any deviations from working practice.
- Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the development of commercial tenders, offers and contracts and formal engagement with other companies.
- Maintaining contract data and records appropriately
- Capture and report labour payments; assist in drafting and awarding sub-contracts and assessing tenders.
- Sub-contractor procurement, Payments and Reconciliation, plus issuing the relevant notifications / payless notices.
- Share learning and commercial best practices to encourage continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for:
- BSc Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
- Complimentary relevant industry work experience.
- Good analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in relevant computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel etc.)
