Project Coordinator

Location: Glasgow
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Available on request

Are you and experienced Project Coordinator who keeps projects organised, people informed and everything moving in the right direction?

If you thrive on bringing structure to busy projects, enjoy working with people across multiple teams and take pride in making sure nothing gets missed, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

We’re recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join a well established and expanding civil engineering and groundworks contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, commercial, residential and public sector projects across Scotland’s Central Belt.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll become an integral part of the operational team, providing essential support to Contracts Managers, Project Managers and site teams, ensuring projects remain organised, documentation is up to date and communication flows efficiently between everyone involved.

The Role:

Working from the Glasgow office, you’ll be at the centre of project delivery, helping to coordinate multiple live contracts from mobilisation through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative and project coordination support across several live construction projects.
  • Assisting Project Managers and Contracts Managers with project documentation, reporting and programme information.
  • Managing drawings, project correspondence, site records, variations and key project documentation.
  • Organising meetings, preparing minutes and following up on agreed actions.
  • Supporting the preparation of reports and maintaining accurate project information.
  • Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure information is communicated effectively.
  • Assisting with procurement schedules, material orders and delivery coordination.
  • Monitoring project milestones, outstanding actions and important deadlines.
  • Maintaining internal systems and ensuring project information remains accurate and easily accessible.
  • Providing day-to-day operational support that helps projects run smoothly from start to finish.
 About You:

You’ll be someone who enjoys organisation, communication and supporting successful project delivery. You take ownership of your work, can juggle multiple priorities and remain calm in a fast paced environment.

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have experience in roles such as:

  • Project Co-Ordinator.
  • Project Administrator.
  • Construction Administrator.
  • Technical Administrator.
  • Project Support.

Experience within construction, civil engineering, housebuilding, infrastructure or groundworks would be highly advantageous, although we’re equally interested in individuals who have developed strong project administration skills in similar technical environments.

You’ll also bring:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to identify what needs to be done without waiting to be asked.
  • A full UK driving licence would be beneficial, as occasional site visits may be required.

This is an excellent opportunity to build a long term career within a supportive team, working on a wide variety of civil engineering and construction projects while developing your knowledge and taking on increasing responsibility as the business continues to grow.

If you’re ready to become a key part of a successful project delivery team, we’d love to hear from you.
